Boy Scouts 2011-2012 Parent Infomation

Attention!!!

Student Life is happy to announce that we will be offering various clubs this year for residential students, day students and mainstreamed students ages 13 and up.

We are looking for sponsors for the following clubs:

• Destination Imagination    **This activity involves students working in teams to solve mind-bending challenges and present their solutions
• Geocaching Club    **This activity is an outdoor treasure hunting game.  Players try to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, by using GPS-enabled devices
• Literacy Club
• Biking Club
• Bowling Club
• Sport Stacking Club    **This is a fitness based sport that kids from all backgrounds and abilities (athletes and non-athletes) can do.  With over 70 fitness based activities, sport stacking helps motivate kids to be active and fit.
• Lego Club
• Fitness Club

Compensation will be $25 per meeting and you are limited to two meetings each month.  Please contact Deb Skjeveland at dskjeveland@isd.k12.in.us if you are interested in being a sponsor.  THANKS!
