Chief Greg Wright

Chief Wright joined the department in 1978. He is a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. Throughout his career he has obtained additional training as a School Safety Specialist, Police Chief Executive Certification, Best Locking Systems Certified Specialist and additional training in other areas of law enforcement. Chief Wright is also a PADI Certified Divemaster and helps teach Scuba.

Sgt. Janice Bivens

Sgt. Bivens has been an officer with this department since 1978. She is a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and is a certified specialist in Domestic Violence Investigations and holds a certification through Best Locking Systems Inc.

Officer Richard Graham

Officer Graham has been an officer with this department since 1988. He is a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy and is certified in Vehicle Crash Investigations and Bicycle Patrol.

Officer James Ryals

Officer Ryals is a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. He is a certified Law Enforcement Instructor and Ground Fighting and Survival Tactics Instructor. He has prior experience working for the Indiana Department of Corrections, where the held the rank of Sergeant. While working for the DOC, he was a member of the SWAT Team, Hostage Retrieval and Assault Team Leader and a designated Sniper. Officer Ryals has completed the Drug Recognition Expert School. Officer Ryals is also an FN 303 Less Lethal Instructor/Armorer. Officer Ryals is also a PADI certified Rescue Diver

Officer Jason Auler

Officer Auler is a graduate of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy. He came to this department after working 2 years with the Department of Corrections. He is also a Reserve Officer with the Alexandria Police Department, where he volunteers his free time.
